Sponsorship and funding

POET relies on sponsorship and donations to fund its activities.
The cost of a commissioned performance from Pavilion Opera varies
according to location, but is presently in the order of £8,000.
As schools do not have budgets for the provision of such activities,
it is the purpose of the Trust itself to provide most of the funding
in one of four ways;

• Sponsorship through endowments and donations from corporate
  and individual patrons;
• Charitable Donations
• Deeds of Covenant from individuals or companies;
• Individual Donations

We would request that any donations from individuals should be
gift aided. A gift aid form can be downloaded from here. Gift aid forms can be provided on request. Sponsors are acknowledged in our publicity materials.

We also endeavour to ensure that all major sponsors are mentioned in
local press coverage relating to the schools performances.

"I applaud the Pavilion Opera Educational Trust for the work they do to bring Opera to young people and the preparation you do prior to the performance to make sure the children are fully immersed in the story".
